I was born in North Dakota, but have lived in Kansas and Nevada, and worked in several US states as well as the country of Jordan. I've been an archaeologist, an English teacher, a make-up consultant, an environmental monitor, and always a writer. My BA is in Anthropology and German, my MA in Linguistics.I speak four languages besides English, and play piano, guitar, and French horn with less than proficiency, but much love.
