The Numark TT1625 is perfect for beginner DJ's. It's a direct drive, running on a motor instead of a belt. It's equipped with its own Numark needle and cartridge. It's a fairly good quality turntable if you are just getting into the DJ scene and you don't wish to spend a lot of money on your equipment. The system is pretty durable and has lasted through some liquid spills and still operates great. Some of the drawbacks to this table however are that it doesn't have a pitch lock which means...

"NeoCitran Cold and Flu"
I really don't like this medication AT ALL!! My chemical makeup is wacky enough and to be honest, this medication takes me on a trip you wouldn't believe! I hear voices, people talking that aren't there, singing, music - all not there! I go in and out of sleep continuously...the list goes on. With this medication I think I come as close to knowing and understanding what someone with Schizophrenia must really go through and it's a terrible feeling. Thus, I am obviously allergic to one or more of the ing...
Ok, a little known fact about moi! There is a grocery store in my area that bakes some of the most tantalizing 'just like Grandma's' Cinnamon Buns and they're slathered with heavenly Cream Cheese Frosting...one box of these delectably heaven sent treats can pack on the poundage if one isn't careful but what's worse for me is that one sliver of even one corner of one of these massive buns will leave me feeling as though I need to stick a pin in my stomach to deflate myself. Even though I die and go to Heave...

"Autel CAN OBDII GS300 Auto Scan tool"
This is a handy dandy Code reader/diagnostic tool for vehicles 1996 and newer that are CAN (Controller Area Network) compliant and OBD2 compliant. We own 2004's - a Nissan Altima and a GMC Sierra and this particular scan tool works for both vehicles. When the "check engine soon" light came on in the truck a few weeks ago, it did so when I just happened to be driving it. This little event gave my husband an opportunity to tease me - "mom, it was working just fine when I parked it - and now, here...
Alright, I admit it. I'm a techno junky! If it is a technology, I'm there, especially if it's a sleek, easy to use and worth the money product, I'm all over it. I am also a Flash Drive hound. The Duracell 8G Memory Flash drive I purchased the other day is compact, lightweight and in comparison to others I've used, fast!Data transfers from my external drives to my memory drive were quick and simple. Even transferring a number of my PDF files in preparation for getting some reading ...
I tried the L'Oreal Perfect 10 hair color system a few months ago. I liked the fact that you could simply 'comb' it on or apply it the conventional way, which is to squeeze it on through a small pointed application cap.I had hoped that L'Oreal would fall away from those squeeze tubes however. In order to put the color into the activator lotion, you have to open the small tube and squeeze the contents into the opening of the applicator bottle that is supplied. I may be alone on this one, but I hat...
I've had a cold the past few weeks and although I don't normally have problems with cold sores - it would stand to reason that as I have a dinner party to attend this upcoming week - I'd be "blessed" with one!I suffered through for the first few days and as I checked it out the other morning I knew that it wasn't going to disappear quickly and by the 18th? Doubtful. My oldest daughter suggested I buy Lipactin and although I didn't like the price that this little tube cost me, I am impress...
When I finally decided to take the plunge and install Windows 7 I was provided with some options for Anti-virus programs that were indicated to be compatible for the new operating system and GData was my preference. My husband also installed Windows 7 and against my recommendations, he decided to install a program that although recommended by Windows 7, was downloaded from a software site that had an older version. Well, may I just interject here "nanna naana naaana!" Sorry, but that couldn't be helped. ...
I've been cooking since I was about 16 and over the years I've cleaned my fair share of dirty ovens. It's a nasty job and someone has to do it, but why should it be me? That's why when we went shopping for a new stove 2 years ago, I decided that regardless of cost, I was going to banish the need to get down and dirty with smelly oven cleaners and rubber gloves. I have always had an affinity for anything black and when I saw the Frigidaire black, ceramic cook top self cleaning oven sitting oh so prettily in t...
*Photos of completed floors to be added shortly - camera is out on the town at the moment :)* There are two occasions in our home when my family begins to get nervous. One is when we are preparing to go away on vacation and the other is when we are preparing to have out of town guests. Both however involve very similar actions, namely thorough cleaning and in the case of the latter, possibly a good amount of re-doing including some remodelling. I've been known to run around for days prior to such an event an...
I borrowed the Rainbow water filter vacuum system from my sister in law awhile ago and I actually really liked it. The water filtering system was a bit gross at times as the vaccum sucked up gunk and junk from the carpets and spewed it into the water filled chamber of the machine and became murky and dirty, but it was obviously doing a decent job of cleaning the carpets. The vacuum doesn't use a conventional filtering system. Instead you fill the vacuum's water chamber with water and attach it to the machine. ...
About a month ago was the last time I was 'carded' -- in order to purchase certain products here including cigarettes and liquor, a person must be 19 years of age. In some places a large sign will indicate that the vendor will have the right to card those individuals who appear to be 25 or younger ;) This has happened a few times and I've laughed each episode off as the good humoring that it was. However, when some guy behind a counter asks me for my ID, and does so with a totally straight and serious face and ...

"Guitar Capo - one handed simplicity"
I've been around musical instruments all my life having been raised in a family where impromptu "concerts" and get together's was the norm rather than the exception. The only thing we have more of in my family than entrepreneurs, are musicians and almost every Aunt, Uncle and cousin either plays one or more instruments and/or sings. I grew up in a home where both my mother and father were musicians and singers and you'd often find guitars perched on their stands, tucked into the corner of almost every room in the...
I've seen this product on store shelves for a few months now and had even picked up the boxes to look at them but was skeptical that a hair colorant could take darker hair and turn it blonde toned without a lot of smell, time and dry ends being the final outcome. How wrong I was! This particular product is by far one of the nicest, put together, all encompassing hair colorant products I think I have ever purchased - and I've purchased a few!Opening the box I discovered everything - and I do mean eve...
While in Home Depot I snagged a few special deals that I wasn't really even going for but when a deal comes along, what's a person to do but take it graciously and then while walking out of the store - jump for joy at the awesome savings they've just pocketed!I've wanted a slow cooker for awhile now but just couldn't seem to justify the cost of one that a) didn't have the room to feed my entire family in one cooking session and b) didn't have any flexibility as far as the cooking programmab...
The HP Pavilion dv6000 could be a great little laptop where it not for the issues that have surrounded it since it hit store shelves in 2005. I own a 2007 model purchased in April of that year and unfortunately the defect that has plagued this laptop since it was introduced appears yet to have been resolved by HP. My Pavilion is equipped with a 1.8mhz Processor, 2Gig of RAM, AMD Turion 64 Mobile Technology (Wireless Network), NVidia GeForce Video with a resolution of 1280x800, only a 60gig Hard drive though, Media Center XP Operating S...
We are quite supportive of the TD CanadaTrust group of services given that we have practically everything covered via their insurance, including Life and Accidental Death coverage - so it was a no brainer to also choose them to insure our home and contents.I really like the idea that obtaining Insurance through them is so easy. We called a 1-866 number when we moved into our current home and after only about 10 minutes we were completely and fully covered with the policy going into effect immediately. At the time...
We've always been fortunate to have great coverage with an Insurance Company and not pay high premiums. When our last broker retired, we decided to hunt for another provider and who better to deal with than a Company you've got your money with. We decided to look at what TD CanadaTrust Insurance, an affiliate of TD Canada Trust Banking, had to offer us. When we purchased the new car and then the new truck, we wanted to ensure that they were completely insured and after calling TD CanadaTrust...

"Garmin nuvi 550 GPS"
The Garmin GPS is a great little device for such things as the clear easy to read touch display screen and this particular model is great for the avid traveler even if they are using it on something like an ATV, motorbike or even ski doo. The unit is waterproof which helps a great deal when you are on one of these machines in the event you are hit by a sudden rain shower or snow storm. It comes with pre loaded maps and can be used in North America to find your way to numerous destinations, points of interest and even to the local...
I had spied this nifty little appliance during my shopping expeditions and thought, how great would a Table top oven be! Me, who hates to cook thinking that something to cook with was actually something I wanted. How odd.Two Christmas's ago my Table top Oven sat newly washed on the counter. My but it was huge! In went the turkey which I'd purchased weeks before, not quite the fit I'd expected, the turkey was even larger than the oven but I was determined to make it work.&...
