About Me: Well i'm 19 and and currently living in Brisbane Australia. I'm studying Town Planning and Queensland University of Technology, where i'm currently enjoying myself and not looking back on life.
As with few other people i'm very into electronics, green energy, cars along with socialising. Currently i'm obsessed with Waste Vegetable Oil and how this product can be used with diesel engines for the generation of electricity and the fuel for cars. However I'm a realist, and know that petrol cars won't be around forever, hydrogen cars are an excuse for a petrol like tax and electric cars will take too long for people to want untill a decent, sports car like an evo or supra are made fully electric.
Although i'm at uni, i'm also working at Kmart where i seem to be managing quite well and am looking forward to gaining a professional job in the real world. This is why i'm studying town planning - Urban and Regional Design to be correct, where i want to improve the conditions of not only Brisbane but Australia wide and help improve public space.
Well thanks for reading, i'm off
Sorry for this being so boring, but thats my life.
Not so long ago i bought an Olympus digital camera for my mum, it was a present for her holiday she's only just left on to Tasmania. The camera is capable of taking 12mp photos with an adjustable resolution, has 3x optical zoom and a 2.7" Lcd Monitor. Other capabilities include Intelligent auto, digital image stabalization, af tracking, face detection as well as perfect shot preview which allows you to take several photos and keep them in the screen. Of course other basicm features include video recording and numerous other things i...
Over recent months i've been suffering from awful sleeping. I've been having barely any night sleep, featuring numerous dreams and an alertness and the feeling of being very awake every time I step into bed. Aswell as this, i have recently been having the problem where i go to sleep, yet have problems staying asleep, leading to numerous action filled dreams. Prior to going to the doctors, I spoke to someone and they recommended Natures Own Complete Sleep. At a cost of $20 or so for 30 capsules, where 2 capsules should be taken each n...

"Simmons Radiator Stop Leak - WASTE OF TIME"
Ok, well to cut things short, my mums car has recently had a few issues with her radiator, and one night she came home from work with a bottle of this radiator stop leak, which cost her a crazy $129.99. I was shocked, normally at around the price of $5 - $15, my mum had bought a product that unknown to most consumers is a temp fix, and not worth the time, effort, nor the amount of money Supercheap were asking. The product said it was simple to apply, where the whole bottle should be added to the radiator, warmed up, and then coole...
All throughout my schooling, from year 7,8,9,10,11,12 as well as my first 2 years of university, i have been using an old Casio fx-82TL Calculator. Although only now as i've been getting into property economics i've needed a new calculator for complex equations, this calculator has been the best calculator i've ever owned. It's a scientific calculator with all the basic scientific functions, minus what modern calculators have with they're graphical charts and extra formulas. At a price of $49.99 eight or nine y...
Ok guys, i know what your thinking, "woah why does this guy keep reviewing deodorants, does he smell alot?"well don't worry, your actually wrong. Like many guys, i like to keep a collection of 4 or 5 deodorants, some anti-perspirant some not, like this one, "Dark Temptation by Lynx". Well i must say this is one of a very few number of deodorants that have actually gained comments like "who smells so nice, the man smell", and "you smell slightly better" lol, this 1 isn;t true, but you never kn...
About 4 - 6 months ago i bought a brand new Mini Grinder/Engraver which i was going to use for porting my intakes on cars, my turbos aswell as cleaning up any metal jobs i did. At a price of about $15 Australian, the engraver is very cheap and comes in a handy carry bag. The kit contains the engraver, about 30 - 40 tips, varying from polishing ends, to grinding stores and diamond tip cutters. The engraver runs off AC power and does not take any batteries, however for most specific uses this does not cause any dramas. As well...
About 9 or 10 months ago i was testing the various men's fragrences in the cosmetics section of Kmart, when i came accross Stitch No18. Stitch is known for making a wide array of fakes from Hugo Boss, right through to the most expensive brands. At a cost of $9.99 per 75ml bottle, the colognes are a fraction of the price of any real cologne, and smells near exactly the same. The bottle is red in colour, with a basic stitch design, as with the majority of stitch fakes to my knowledge. You may say, "but what are t...
As most young men are, i've always been into working the hair a bit. Maybe not as much now, but the V05 Extreme Style Texturising Gum has made my basic styling routine a whole lot easier. Sold at around $6.99 Australian, the gum is reasonably cheap, and can style any kind of hair, without making the hair too greasey (as done by most waxes).Being a gum whenever you style your hair only a small amount is used, making the whole container last nearly 2 to 3 times longer then standard waxes and gels. For the best styling i've ...

"Remote Control Holden Ute Electric"
A good year or so ago, i purchased an Electric Radio Controlled Holden Ute from a local Hobby shop. This purchase was due to bordeom and my growing interest with cars and the drifting scene". At a price of $199, including all necessary start up gear, the car isn't a cheap purchase and i believe not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.This is simple because these cars are very delicate if driven rough, and if taken into a wall, or over a bump at high speeds, repairs can become very costly $$$.The car is red in c...
Here it is, one more of my many fragrances and deodorants that just had to be reviewed. I recently recieved this as a gift from my sister, it also came with a body wash (which not pictured), however can be sold seperately. Although smelling beautifully and lasting alot longer then expected, this cologne has really let me down. As with the majority of colognes and perfumes, this one was no different, the smell lasted barely 20 mins before combining with other smells, which i personally thought made me smell worse.Although the frag...
"Papermate Med Ball Point Pent - Cheap and Reliable"
As a uni student and a kmart employee, pen's have always been important and used on a daily basis. Back when i was younger i use to purchase the el-cheapo pen's thinking that a pen was a pen, however after writing with these, i found that every line i wrote felt stiff, sharp and would consistantly run out of ink. From that very day, i always bought packs of 15 - 20 Papermate Ball Point pens. These standard blue pens are basic, yet do everything an expensive pen can do at a third of the cost. And for me, at home and at work...
Just a few weeks ago my girlfriend and i decided we must buy a quality air mattress for our 4 night camping holiday over early February. We both knew that what we needed was a pump up air mattress, manual pump required, as well as of course being able to hold both myself and my girlfriend, without falling off the edges of the bed. I managed to get the Intex Queen size air mattress for $37.99, normally in the high 40's. Once we had got home, we slowly but surely pumped up the air mattress. Unlike other pump up bed's I’ve had ...
Lynx Voodoo Deodrant. Ok guys I know what your thinking, it's Lynx, chances are it's going to smell cheap and tacky. But what can I say this is one of the best deodrants that have been made fo a long time as will be explained. What draws the attention to deodrants such as Lynx is not only to mask body odours but also in attempting to give the illusion that after shave is being used. We all know that girls don't likes the smell of toilet freshner, hopefully thats safe enought to assume. The fragrance of this deodrant is wonde...

"EBC Green Brake Pads - Higher Performance?"
Not so long ago, i replaced the brake pads on a vehicle of mine, including both front and rear disk brakes. I replaced the pads with EBC High Perforance Brake pads, standing out from the crowd with organic green brake material. Once installed, and worn in with the proper braking procedures (in order to set pads in), i noticed an immediate difference to my previous weak pads. Not only did they grip harder then any other pads i had installed before, but they were alot cooler to the touch after a drive, and seemed to keep the calipers themselve...
Every since i was younger i had a brown billabong wallet, which i believe was originally bought from City Beach here in Australia. As with all City Beach clothing/apparrel, the wallet is what i deem a surfer/teenage wallet, that personally just gets more childish as i get older. The wallet is made from a strong canvas with a polyester lining, and as with most billabong wallets, all the sides and important joins are double or tripple stitched, making the wallet an even stronger competitor. There are numerous compartments throughou...
As a budding University student, i love my thongs/Flip Flops.I wear them all the time, at uni, when i'm out with the guys playing pool or even just doing daily chores. Not too long ago i got into buying my thongs from the retail store Kmart. You may ask "why buy cheap rubbish thongs from kmart", but they're not rubbish!, they are better then all the other thongs i have ever owned. They're cheap at $4.99 Aust a pair, white and stylish", and a comfy casual piece of clothing that can make any outfit. ...
About a year ago i was given a second hand Samsung 16" SyncMaster Monitor, in an attempt to replace an old HP Monitor that was suffering the signs of age. The monitor gives the appearance of flat screen, however is over 17 inches deep, making the screen hard to move and adjust due to changing light conditions. The resolution is sharp with the ability from 800 - 600, right through to 2048 - 1536, where even the largest of icons look as small as an ant.The design is relatively modern, with smooth corners all around, as well as...
Not too long ago my sister and i went shopping and bought a wallet for myself, which was meant to be a birthday present. The wallet was bought from City Beach, an Australian surf shop with all the brand name products. At a price of $20, the wallet isn't too expensive, with a red and white element pattern, with a black, tri fold inside. The wallet held all my cards nicely, as well as providing a good safe place for my small change with a small zipped section. The wallet is rather durable, however as i've been getting old i&...

"Toyota Celica St184 Clutch Kit - Cheapie"
On a week to week basis, i tend to spend hrs upon hrs on fixing cars. During the process of my current project, i bought the bottom of the line, cheap, and complete clutch kit possible. Once installed, the clutch feels absolutely amazing, with very minimal movement before the car is locked into a gear. As part of the clutch kit, i recieved a strong clutch plate, new clutch disk, as well as all other bearings necessary to do the complete swap.Being an organic friction clutch, the clutch is very driveable around town, yet would als...
The Toyota Celica sx St184 has been a project car of mine over the last few months, and what can i say, this car is amazing. The car has a 2.2l 4cyl 5sfe Engine, fuel economy is about 7-8 litres per 100km around town and 6-7 litres per 100km on highways. After driving a whole range of cars, including honda integra's, Largo vans, hyundai excells, Toyota aurions and other small vehicles, this car is bang for the buck. Anywhere from 2 -5k second hand, these cars have the reliability of all Toyotas, as well as a about 100kw of pow...
