Mazda 626

Mazda 626. 1993 year. Green hatchback. 2.0 DOHC engine. Friends again.

Well, my friend bought mazda 626. Nice car for that year.

Style:

Typical mazda-sllek lines,"mazdish" headlights. Looks well on the road.

Interior:

Low sitting. Legroom is not enough for me in front, and friends on the back seat always remember me that this mazda is not suitable to carry more thant two people. Ergonomic is good enough for that year, though there appears strange sounds in back while driving. Features set is limited-there is only roof window.

Engine:

Engine is good and likes revs. 136 bhp. engine goes till the ~6800 rpm. 0-60mph or 0-100kph it takes about 9.5 seconds. good score. Mazda is light car. engine sound is normal,not bad,nor sporty.

Suspension. It is hard and you feel it.

Steering. Steering wheel is too big in my opinion. but at the same time steering is easy,wheel turns easily,car is easy controlled.

Brakes. 626 doesn't include ABS. This means minor difficulties in winter time,but anyway,brakes are strong.

Fuel:

Mazda 626 needs about 7-7.5 litres for 100km in the city (bear in mind roundabouts ant other situations when you have to push right foot harder)

All in all it is good car for money,maybe it is not spacious,but it doesn't look so outdated and engine is really capable to give you excitement
