I started using Murad acne complex after i started recieving a series of severe break outs along my my cheek bones and forehead. I had been recomemned the product by a employee at the chain store sephora. I personaly do not have overly sensative skin nor any other specific skin problems besides acne.
When i first began using the product, which is a 4 step process two times a day. Clense, tone, spot treatment and than moisturize. At first i noticed a significant improvement in my skin. it constantly had the smooth skin of just having revieved a facial. However after using Murad for about 3 weeks, i was noticing that my skin was starting to ttake a turn for the worse. My skin was constantly red, and i was getting more acne than i had to begin with. My skin was also itchy from being constantly dryed out from the product.
I admit this product will work wonders for thsoe who have overly oily skin and an exorbinent amount of acne, but for the person with the average face the product is much to strong and abrasive to the skin.

I had tried a sample of this product in the sensitive skin line and was happy with it. I wonder if my opinion would have changed if I used it longer? Thanks for the insight.
