Several knock offs of Eclat exist amongst other brands but I have never found one that has just the right hue to highlight and conceal and brighten like YSL Eclat does. The price for Eclat is steep - typically $39.50 in stores like Neiman Marcus and Saks. It comes in four shades and shade one (Radiant) works as both a concealer, a highlighter and a brightener. I was impressed by how this concealer does not wear off or streak and it does not get creased in wrinkles. Your face looks much brighter and younger if you apply Eclat in dark spots such as on the inner and outer corners of the eye, beneath the nose and on the curve of the nostril, (where blackheads often occur), on the sides of the lips if your lips turn downward, and on the chin in the recession where whiteheads often form. It is also excellent for softening the vertical skin lines that run between your nose and mouth and as a highlighter in the "v" of your upper lip. If you are not sure if you are the lighter or darker shades, go with the lighter one on this product since it works as a highlighter and illuminizer without being shiny or glittery. While it is an expensive product, you only need a tiny amount - one dispensing click of the pen is enough to do your whole undereye and to work as an eyeshadow base.
