Elizabeth Arden Deep Cleansing Mask comes in a 3.4 oz. light-blue plastic tube. It is a little pricy at $15, but still cheaper than most facial masks, especialy by big brand names. I chose this mask because of a friend's recommendation; I also liked its many plant-derived ingredients: extracts of calendula, chamomile, burdock, birch bark, cucumber, and more.
The mask is applied on clean skin just like all other facial masks. Its consistency is rather thick, clay-like; the color is white with a shade of green (not something I'd like to be seen wearing - reminds me of all those women with green facial masks we see in movies). The mask feels cool on my face, which is a pleasant sensation; it slightly smells of mint. It should be left on the face for ten minutes. The mask quickly dries and can be a little hard to rinse off. To avoid this problem, I apply the mask when I am taking a bath and then rinse it off in the shower.
While I like the immediate results, I must say that I see no considerable difference long-term. Right after treating my face with this mask, my skin is very clean and soft. But that's about it, and any good facial mask will do that. As to some overall, general improvement, I cannot say I have noticed any.
