We’ve been pretty quiet for a while, which was all part of our master plan to bring you some goodies this holiday shopping research season, and that’s an all new SharedReviews for you to enjoy! It’s bigger, it’s better, and it’s easier to use, so come check it out and don’t forget to stop by the forums to give us your feedback.
Bounties are coming:
Here’s a biggie, we’ve been beta-testing a new content service that’s been so successful we need some new writers, and we need them now! What this means for you is that if you’re a good writer, we’ll fill that writing itch by offering you assignments where you could earn $10 or more for every article you write. It’s all based on word count, so the bigger the order the bigger the payout. Once you’ve been approved for the program, we’ll give you access to where you’ll write and manage all of the bounties you accept to fuel your income. We’re going to start accepting applications on Monday December the 8th, so look for an email from us with where and how to apply for the program.
Community Progress:
It’s been a couple of month’s now since we had to suspend revenue sharing with our authors. It was a very tough decision for us, and one that boiled down to one simple question; having not yet achieved enough cash flow to sustain the model, and with no investment reserves remaining, should we shut down or re-tool? As you may have noticed that decision was to stay the course and sacrifice everything we could to ensure our obligations were met to our community, investors, and employees alike. Two months later and we’ve had some amazing progress! We can now see the day when earning potential will not only be re-instated, but go far beyond what any other review or pay for content site offers today. In the meantime we’ve seen record breaking signups, site traffic, tons of new reviews being published, and an active and supportive community there to help us through this difficult transition. That’s something we’d like to thank each and every one of you for.
Now, what are we doing in the interim? We threw up some fun and cool contests that are paid monthly is what! You can earn up to $25 each for most published reviews, most votes received, and most votes cast. We also have second, third, fourth, and fifth place prizes that range between $20 – $5 each. Oh, don’t forget our crazy off the wall $5 mini-contests happening all the time. You never know what you may do in the community that could earn you a little bonus this holiday season.
