Books Movies & Music / Fiction Books / Ender's Shadow Book Review

enders music paperback image

Ender's Shadow, by Orson Scott Card, is the fifth book in the sci-fi Ender's series. Here, Card retels the story of the first book, but from the point of view of Bean, one of Ender's closest friends. I find that despite being a rewrite of the same story, it is very masterfully done. Just as his other books in the Ender series, this one is a page turner and keeps me on my toes for more.

This book is not merely a repeat of Ender's Game. This is the same event, but viewed from the light of different eyes. It complements Ender's Game and sheds light to the events that transpired in the first book.

The book is exciting, insightful, and is a true masterpiece. Orson Scott Card is one of the best, if not the best himself, sci-fi writers ever born.

Buy this book! It's definitely worth it!
