In The Main Corpse, one of the installments in the Goldy Culinary Mysteries by Diane Mott Davidson, Goldy again seems to find trouble.  She is a caterer who isn't very busy in this book, so she decides to take her friend, Marla, up on her offer to cater an affair for investors of a gold mine.

But one of the partners of the mine, Marla's current boyfriend, ends up missing after a fight with Marla, which points the finger at her as a possible murder suspect.  And he isn't the only one who goes missing.  Goldy must put on her detective cap and do some investigating to clear Marla's name, as well as take care of some other problems that crop up.  There is never a dull moment with Goldy.

This was an enjoyable book, though I have enjoyed other Goldy Culinary Mysteries more.  And Diane Mott Davidson always includes some recipes in her culinary mysteries, with this novel being no exception.  Not a bad book, just not one of my favorites by this author.
