Books Movies & Music / Fiction Books / This Much is True by Wally Lamb

This Much is True by Wally Lamb is the fictional story of a pair of twins.  The book spans multiple generations and the trials and tribulations of an often troubled family.

This Much is True is written very well.  One device that is used throughout the book is jumping between the present and past generations.  It chronicles a families troubled past, but also offers some hope for the chronically challenged.

I enjoyed this book.  At just under 500 pages, it is a lengthy read, but one that flows nicely.  I thought it took quite a while for the plot to fully develop, but like most good books it came together in the end.

I would recommend this novel.  It is by no means a "light read" but one you can take something away from.
