I have been renting movies online from movielink.com and cinemanow.com for years and they both have always had problems with the e;ectronic banking ands biligs aspects. But trying to rent "Sideways" tis mornign becam a word and shield battle ahgainst a lying, dishonest customer service operator who shut me out of the chat session and discontinued my access to the site help feature to cover up his deed. Strangely the executives of each company seme to exchange positions.
The CEO's and vice presidents of these types of companies are collecting speaker fees at media conferences touting their expetrtise. Meanwhile their companies can't vend a $2.99 rental. Do the studiod know?Do the riters know? Do the acotrs know? Lost residuals everywhere. Don't let's forget the unhappy customer. The site still can't find my information, and lying operator knows it.
Here is the chat session, I have changed the name (since Movielink couldn't find it what's the diff?) If you want o actually reach a person with a name at Movielink or Cinemanow forget it. They know better and you can't find contact infor anywhere on the web. Iasked for the CEO and vice-predientt's email address and phone number from the CSR when he emailed me after he closed the chat session but refused to respond with the information. Who knows who can access my personal profile and credit card information? I am the customer and Movielink can and I cannot.

After the Byron CSR dumped me he closed off my IP address from accessing any more chat windows from my IP address and sent the following email:
We apologize for the hangup. We do you have your account on file. No information has been delete, Please try to delete your cookies and clear your cache. At the top of your browser, click on Tools. In the drop-down box, click on Internet Options. This will open the Internet Properties control panel. Click on Delete Files. Then check the "Delete all offline content" box and click OK. Next, click on "delete cookies." Click OK. Close internet explorer. Please return to chat for futher instructions if this does not help.

Is it any surprise this did not work? Fakers! I don't even think this was a real person in an office, just some guy trying to go back to sleep. If you meet guys named Sean Besser and Bruce David Eisen , tell them to stop counting their gold and get some customer service. If I see them inside another conference agenda on telephony biz models they can expect tomatoes. Right in the movielink.
