Everybody Hates Chris is a sitcom inspired by the growing experiences and life lessons the legendary comedian Chris Rock had when growing up as a young African-American boy and being a bigger brother to his two younger siblings Drew and Tanya. Chris ( Tyler James Williams) in this series is seen as a normal teenager growing up and having to deal with all the pressures and trials and tribulations that come with it. Chris's mother Rochelle(Tichina Arnold, MARTIN) and father Julius(Terry Crews) offer guidance and the occasional beat-down to the young Chris and last but not certainly least Chris Rock himself provides narration on the show. I must say being a huge Chris Rock fan I wasn't disappointed as all the jokes were on point and funny. On the age restriction side of things I think this is a sitcom the whole family can enjoy together. The CW really struck gold here with Everybody Hates Chris and am absolutely dying to see what's next for Chris and the Rock family. This show I personally feel has the potential to be as ground breaking in the sitcom genre as My Wife And Kids was back in the day. This is a great comedy and I definitely recommend this for good wholesome family viewing
