The Ghost Rider DVD is a pretty good movie. My husband and son enjoyed it the most, but it is more of a guy movie. A lot of action and some violence. It's kind of scary at points especially when the main character (Nicholas Cage) turns into the Ghost Rider. His skin burns up and is left with the skeleton on fire. For the younger kids, this can be very graphic. My daughter was really upset until she realized that he was still alive.

It's an ok story line. This character has basically sold his soul to the devil but finds himself rooting for the good guys when the devil's son comes down to control the earth and to place darkness all around. The devil calls upon the Ghost Rider to hunt down and destroy his son and his accomplices. It's definitely a dark film, but all in all, Nicholas Cage does a good job in the movie. Of course no movie could resist a love story amist the story line. The Ghost Rider doubles as a regular guy during the day who has fallen for an old flame (no pun intended...LOL). Eva Medes plays the girlfriend who is determined to find out more about this dark being, little does she know that she's in love with him.

 Not a bad movie...but parents should watch it first.
