Like most people I thoroughly enjoyed the movie Shrek.  When Shrek first came out it was fresh idea with amazing computer animation and a hilarious plot.  Shrek 2 was not quite as good and Shrek The Third was the worst yet.

Shrek The Third follows Shrek on his quest to find Arthur the heir to the throne of Far Far Away.  Along the way Shrek, Donkey, and Puss in Boots have several adventures although they no longer seem fresh or really that amusing.  Meanwhile Princess Fiona finds herself pregnant with a less than enthusiastic Shrek and Prince Charming is planning an elaborate plan (which presents itself in the from of a theatrical play) to become king of Far Far Away.

As an adult I really didn't enjoy this DVD.  My children however loved it.  My two year old was mesmerized by the characters and my nine year old daughter laughed until she cried.  This DVD comes with many special features and extras.  Included are:Artie's Yearbook (which is probably the funniest thing on this disk), Shrek's guide to parenthood and the obligatory how we made the movie feature.  There are many more extras included with this DVD.  The funniest thing I found  about Shrek the Third is that the extras and special features are more entertaining than the film itself.
