Books Movies & Music / Non Fiction Books / Animals in Translation

I seek out non-fiction books that other people never even know exist and I find some really interesting reading that way. This book is border line in that catagory. On the one hand, the author(s) have some really good theories. Alot of what is brought forth I agree with and can relate to . But, on the other hand, there are some really far-fetched theories (in my opinion) that are stretching it just a tad. And, there is some down-right disgusting stuff in regards to animal breeding that I could have lived the rest of my life without knowing. Let me put it this way...I'll never eat another pork chop again. Of course, when you seek out the obscure you must be willing to accept what you find. I accept that and am willing to recommend this book to anyone interested in animals, the animal breeding business, or the slaughter industry. The full title of this book is: Animals in Translation: Using the Mysteries of Autism to Decode Animal Behavior. The Autism part is beside the point in my opinion...but don't take my word for it. Read it yourself and see what you think.
