Cloud-hidden, Whereabouts Unknown: A Mountain Journal by Alan Watts is easily one of my favorite books by the great man who helped bring Eastern thinking to the Western world.  The book covers Alan Watts final writings in his mountain home at the foot of Mount Tamalpais, California.

Written in a journal fashion and broken up into separate ideas and thoughts, Cloud-hidden is a great glimpse at what Alan Watt was thinking before he died.  Part philosophy and part spirituality, the book is somewhat easy to read yet hard to completely understand, like most of his works.

I have always admired Alan Watts and what his philosophy represents and I really love reading this book once every couple years.  Anyone that is interested in Tao, Eastern thought, or really any honest philosophical work will be rewarded by picking this one up.
