Patricia Heaton is the actress who plays Deborah on the TV sitcom, "Everybody Loves Raymond". She is a very funny person, which comes through in her autobiography, "Motherhood and Hollywood - how to get a job like mine".
Patricia Heaton is married with four young boys, and in this book she tells about love, marriage, her life and her views on life. She discusses her childhood in Cleveland, Ohio, her survival tactics in New York City, and her move to Los Angeles and what transpired there.
The book is 207 pages long, and I thought it was very well-written by someone I just thought of as an actress. Patricia Heaton's wit definitely comes through in this book, I found myself chuckling quite a few times. Even the front and back covers of the book are amusing. On the front cover, you see Patricia standing by a snazzy red car, wearing a slinky strapless gown and holding a wire bristled cleaning brush in yellow cleaning-gloved hands, and when you flip the book to the back cover, you see the back view of the dress, held together with tape and clamps, and her hair, bobby-pinned in a certain way so that it will look good from the front. This is just an example of what fun is in store for you when you read the book.
