It is written by Mike Wickham, who is very knowledgeable in this field, and it gives the reader much useful information. The book is a total of 362 pages, including the index, and Mike Wickham writes in such a humorous way that the book is a delight to read. You are having fun while you are learning.
Mike Wickham tells all about setting up a saltwater aquarium. He informs you what you need to buy, what types of fish to start with and what fish are compatible with each other, what the parameters of the water should be for the optimum health of your fish, how to maintain your aquarium, things you can expect in dealing with a saltwater aquarium, how to feed, what to do when disease strikes, and much more. There is even a section in the middle of the book with color photos of different types of saltwater aquarium inhabitants.
I found this book to be an invaluable guide when I first set up my saltwater aquarium and I still refer to it from time-to-time. A must-have for anyone with a saltwater tank or thinking of getting one.
