I have a coffee-table style book called Windows on Paradise, and this book is full of beautiful pictures by the artist, Thomas McKnight. Mr. McKnight has done some wonderful, colorful paintings of different places around the world, and his paintings show you these places through his eyes. They are serene and just so beautiful to look at. Mr. McKnight's paintings are supplied by the mental images he carries in his mind's eye, the way he sees things or would like to see things.
This book contains 105 full-color images, some of which are full page, and 12 of which take up double pages. The introduction is written by Annie Gottlieb, and we get a very good feel for Mr. McKnight's work in looking through and reading this book. The book is a total of 181 pages. I just wish it were longer.
I am so glad I purchased this book. I got it for a discounted price of $24.99, and I think Amazon.com has it for a very low price.
If you like beautiful art, bright with colors and life, you will enjoy Windows on Paradise, a wonderful book of Thomas McKnight's work.
