Clothing / Men's Footwear / Solid Shoes for any Use

I've always worn running shoes pretty much casually wherever I go. That being said, I prefer a more expensive, technology-based shoe. I've gone through Nike, Asics and Mizuno shoes and I feel like for the most part all the higher end shoes of each brand perform on pretty much the same level. The Saucony Progrid Guide has been a great shoe for the time I've had it. The soles are quite sturdy, which I maintain to be a good characteristic of a well-built shoe. In terms of comfort, I've had no complaints with these as I have with some other shoes. They are durable, and I can tell because I've worn them pretty rigorously for about a year and a month almost every day. My feet sweat a lot, especially when I'm running, and I believe the ventilation on these shoes is quality, but could be better. This is something I feel Saucony should address. I've taken these shoes to many places and they never let me down. However, I do have two minor complaints. First, the stitching that holds the Saucony logos on the outside of the shoes are poorly done, and I had to return one pair because they almost came off completely. Also, the soles of the shoes have started to peel off in a few places-not severely, but coming off nonetheless. Other than that, I feel that these shoes are very high quality and can perform with the best of higher-end shoes. I like to really wear in the insoles of shoes so that they really conform to my foot, and the insoles of these shoes can be broken in easily and quickly with minimal wear. With all of my wearing them for such a long time, the worst that has happened to the insole is slight wearing off of the top fabric. The only place it has worn off is where I put the most pressure on my foot. For the most part, these have been great everyday shoes for me, and I have been able to rely on them as my go-to shoe for sport and recreation.
