I recieved this watch as part of a Quiksilver sponsorship promotion, and my first impression was that it would be an amazing watch. I was right. Its multitude of functions allow a user to moniter the tide practically anywhere in the world, no matter where they are. The tide charts which are pre-loaded onto the watch are good for another 15 years od tide monitering. The glass face was very scratch-resistant, and endured water depths of over 100 feet. My only complaint about the watch is the durability of the band. I surf with my watch, so the wetsuit adds some wear and tear on the band, but I expected it to last longer than a month. When it did break, however, I was able to send it to Quiksilver for a free repair, which was cool, considering I didn't pay for the watch.
