Spring is in the air, which means it's time to see it in our wardrobes. Out with the warm woolies and dark colours, and in with the light fabrics and pretty pastels.
I love this blouse from Jessica. It is lightweight and fun. Best of all it's purple! I've always loved purple, lilac, and every shade in between. It's definitely a happy colour, and I'm quite happy to wear it. But if lilac is not your style, this blouse also comes in cream and other soft, spring colours.
I am excited to see all the wrap-around styles coming back, because they are so fun to wear. The look is stylish and the bows are pretty. And a real bonus to this style is the size adjustability! Every time you wear this blouse, or anything wrap-around, you can adjust it to fit just so... whether that means pulling it tighter, or letting it out a little. Your clothes always fit your body just right, regardless of those normal weight fluctuations, or just that extra piece of cheesecake. (I won't tell if you won't!)
The neckline on this blouse is quite deep. You'll want to wear a tank top or a nice lacy camisole underneith.
The biggest complaint I have about this top, is the type of material used. It doesn't have much give to it when I move around, making it more stiff and formal. I wear it for special occasions, but it's just not comfortable enough to dress down and wear more casually.
Because of the fabric, I probably won't get as much wear out of it as I would other pieces of clothing, but overall, it's a touch of spring that makes me smile, so to me, it's worth it.
