My son wanted a cordless mouse for his laptop because he doesn't like the touchpad on the laptop. We were at WalMart recently and he picked out this Logitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse.

When we got home he was able to get the mouse set up on his laptop as well as the desktop he shares with his brother in a matter of minutes. It comes with a plug and play receiver that plugs into the USB port. The mouse runs on 1 AA battery that was included. It has an indicator light that lets you know when th battery power is low. When not in use, the receiver snaps into the bottom of the mouse which also turns the mouse off.

This mouse has high definition optical performance with 1,100 dpi optical technology. This inables you to have smooth control on almost any surface. Because it is optical you are able to scroll in more directions as well as zoom in and out.

Because it is a mini optical mouse, it is very easy for my son to pack it to take to his dads on the weekends. It fits his hand very well and he says it is very comfortable to use. We highly recommend this mouse to anyone looking for cordless convenience.
