I got this when I built my new system. I'm running a Core 2 Duo E6600 at stock speeds currently (2.4 GHz). A lot of people forget that the CPU is only going to be as cool as the ambient temperature that the case is in, so if the air outside the case is warm, the air inside is going to be warmer, which is going to have a direct impact on the CPU's temperature. Given this fact, this cooler performs remarkably well. It is quiet, the fan speed is adjustable, and it cools the CPU and MOSFETs very well. I've had it for over a year and it has kept my CPU temps well within check. The construction is solid, the fan is quiet, and I really couldn't be happier. When I was overclocking, I got the processor up to 3.2 GHz and upped the voltage enough to make a difference in heat output, but I was never worried and never had to push the fan speed anywhere close to 100% to keep the temps down. I fully recommend this product.

Not bad for $30! My sons are always buying and installing fans because they like overclocking:) I'm going to point them here in the hopes they'll finally settle on just one.
