I'm quite satisfied with my Dell Studio 15 (1555). I can't remember, but it cost around $600-$850 (Including the printer I also bought). The keyboard and mousepad are easy to use, except the multiple functions that some keys have. For example, if I wanted to use the "F2", I would have to hold "Fn" or else it would de-activate wireless communications. Or if I wanted to use "F8" I would have to do the same, or I would just lower the volume. It may need some getting used to, but when you do, it's easy to use. Mine came with Windows Vista Home Premium, but I'm able to get Windows 7 for free when it is released. But right now, the Studio 15's at Dell.com come with Windows 7. At Dell.com, you can customize the features you want on the computer you are buying, such as harddrive space, video card, operating system, programs you would like to be pre-installed, etc. It also plays computer games great. I have Halo Custom Edition, World of Warcraft, A.V.A., and Call of Duty 4 all working smoothly with little to no lag, on or offline. It also has a built-in webcam and microphone, good for video/voice chat. It has 2 USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA port, a memory card slot, ethernet port, HDMI port, 2 earphone ports, a microphone/headset port, and some other stuff. Overall, this laptop is great for mostly anything. Internet surfing, Video and Voice chat, Email/Im, Gaming, and more.
