I purchased the Samsung ML-1610 black and white laser printer for about $70.00 new with a mail-in-rebate. Over the past 1-2 years, this printer has served as both a printer and in some instances, a foot rest. It has been outstanding in both capacities. This is definitely a no fuss printer which accomplishes printing without fault and can be easily transported, which is something that many other laser printers cannot say about themselves. The low price sweetens the deal further because when the toner runs out (which is hasn't yet, I'm thinking it can get in a few thousand prints at least) you could have the choice to simply purchase another printer for the same price as a toner cartridge. Overall build quality is satisfactory but with a slightly troublesome paper tray.
