We bought our child the computer software game of Caillou's Birthday Party CD Rom ahwile ago. It is made by The Learning Company. Caillou is a cartoon show on PBS. This CD Rom is for ages two to six. I agree with the age level on it. It is pretty easy to navigate through it and to use. It is fun for younger kids and still enjopyable as they get a little older. As far as educational, I'd say it has little educational value to it. It is mostly party games and beach games rather than learning. Which is okay, sometimes it is good to just let kids have fun with their games! My child enjoys it very much and plays it often. But if you are looking for an educational CD Rom then it might not be the best choice for you. It has a few different games on it, but not as many choices as other CD Rom's for children generally have.
