My experience with windows vista is a dissapointment. It has become a huge let down as far as what microsoft has promised and it seems that they have stolen quite a few ideas from Apple. On first trying vista your taken with all the pretty graphics and cool login screen, plus the new wallpapers. But once you get into the user aspect of the OS you begin to realize that this is really difficult and unessasary. with almost everything you do from downloading a file to changing your login picture you encounter a challenge screen asking if your really sure you want to do this! I understand security but I feel that it`s overkill to the max! navagation is strange and hard to remember not to mention that the fix for this is search fields everywhere you look. right away you start to look for the classic view on things like the control panel, Well, that kind-off defeats the purpose of a new OS with new and exciting features! I find myself going to my other pc that has xp, sad but it`s more comfortable, I know where things are and I can finish work more quickly. I don`t know if microsoft can fix this since they already released it with such hype, but they should do something to improve the user experience.
