It's more than just a "flash drive" - this one in particular courtesy of SanDisk gives you more than just the usual storage space that you would normally see out of the average flash drive. "How so?" you may ask - well, firstly, this U3 flash drive comes included with many beneficial features to ensure longetivity and prevent any possible internal issues that may arise. I, myself, don't really mind that because of the extra features, more space is being allocated - therefore, of course, not receiving that stated 1 gigabyte (or whichever applies with the different selection of sizes - in my case, it's one gig), aside from the formatting portion which is the case with all storage devices.

Pros:
*Flash drive comes bundled with security software (U3), games and backup programs that may be essential at some point, whether or not you may think so
*The U3 software allows you to download additional programs exclusively compatible with the flash drive (only allowed to be ran as long as the flash drive is connected)
*Seems physically durable, which is something I consider important
*I love the privacy you can get out of these by password-protecting the entire flash drive itself before its contents could be read by the computer because in my case, I usually deal with "confidential" tasks

Cons:
*A strap would be nice (or, in this instance, have had been)
*Sometimes, in my own experience with a fairly fast computer, connectivity time would increase (slow reading speeds)

Above all, I've been really satisfied with this flash drive (I'm also thinking on trying the "Titanium" and "Premium" editions - more comprehensive flash drives courtesy of SanDisk as far as I'm concerned). If you want something of superior quality that will do more than "just the job", then you, my friend, shall look no further!
