Recently my old cell phone broke and I was forced to purchase a new one. I had been looking around at a few different models anyway because my contract was almost up and I was planning on an upgrade.
After doing a lot of research I decided on the Blackberry Pearl. Boy am I glad I did! The phone not only gets great reception-it has wifi capability and is almost like carrying my laptop with me whereever I go. I can email, text, and IM with no problem. It is smaller than most Blackberry models making it a great choice.
The phone also has this great free feature you can download called Vlingo that allows you to voice activate and transcribe emails, web searches and text messages. I use it all the time! It is faster than a phone book! The Blackberry Pearl has lots of free downloadable appplications that make it even more productive.
You can watch videos, listen to music, and so much more!
The only cons of the Pearl are that when the battery is low it turns off the antenna and if the memory is low it does a lot of funky stuff. Both problems are easily avoidable however.
