After using my old phone to its breaking point, I finally had to go and get a new one from the (then Cingular) AT&T store. I didn't want to spend much money, I only use my phone to make calls, do math, and send the occasional text message, so I just wanted something basic. After spending a little time in the store and talking to the sales representative, I finally decided on the most basic Razr option, since it was cheaper than the larger phones after the rebate. I have regretted this purchase almost since as soon as I got it. First off, the trivia. This phone doesn't come with any free games. My old phone had one game on it, but that was enough to get me through some long classes. Just one free game, even if it was only partial, would be enough to keep me happy. Also, the phone opens to almost 180 degrees, meaning that the hinge presses in to the side of my face when I talk. This becomes uncomfortable during long conversations. Of more significance, I don't feel that the order of the menu and tools are very intuitive, it took me a month to find the calculator. It is not set up in a way that makes sense and is hard to navigate through. Finally, the batter life is almost a joke. I don't keep it plugged in except when necessary, but it still won't last more than a day. Often times, you get what you pay for. This is one of those times.
