Back in February of this year I received a Nikon Cool Pix camera as a gift from my brother. Actually I was looking for a small size camera which can easily be slipped into my purse. So when I received it I got really excited as it was exactly what I was looking for.

Nikon Cool Pix is one of the Super slim digital cameras that I have ever come across. It has an aluminum body featuring: 7.2 Mega Pixels, 3x zoom Lense, 2.5 inch LCD Screen, ISO 1000 Sensitivity with simple selectable settings of 50,100,200,400,and 1000,

Nikon S200 is an ultra compact, pocket size automatic digital camera which does not need any manual exposure capabilities. Its LCD Screen deals with all screen framing, image reviewing and other menu access chores. It is auto focus. The camera select the shutter and aperture speed by allowing users to manually set certain features such as hi sensitivity (ISO) which can manually be set from user selected setting from 50 to 1000, white balance or color saturation etc.

It also features a movie mode: allowing to capture videos upto 2 GB Duration. Voice memo recording is upto 20 seconds

Its zoom feature is quick and quiet. When camera is turned on its Zoom Lens telescope comes out of camera body and when it is turned off the camera lense retracts back into the camera body. It has a built in lense cover which automatically shuts off and on with the camera.

Nikon also offers range of ISO FROM 50-1000, for different variety of movie modes, automatic face detection.

S200 image quality is very good but the pictures taken in a dark room or at night time are not as good as the ones in the bright day light because under low light conditions Nikon cool Pix S200 ability to focus is slower than in bright light. Overall the picture quality is little disappointing and they cannot qualify or come into excellent image camera category.

It is best for amateur photographers, campers or travelers looking for a compact camera to take along anywhere or fit anywhere. It's features are best for snapshot. The camera is slim, stylish and easy to use.
