I bought this camera after my previous one decided that it would not turn on anymore.  So when I headed to the store, I wanted what most average camera users want.  Good options, easy to use, clear pictures and a decent price.

Recargable Battery

One of the best features is the battery.  No longer do I need to buy recargable double A's! This camera houses it's own battery that lasts for hours.  It simply slides out, pops on the charger (that comes with the camera) and is ready to go usually with in an hour.  I find that it easily lasts an entire day of sightseeing without losing power and makes taking it on trips a pleasure.

Video Capture

I've never really had a use for a video camera, but there are always the times that I would like to capture something.  Surprisingly, this camera does it for me.  It captures sounds during your video, lets you zoom in and out and produces amazingly clear clips.  There is no limit to how long you can take video for, as long as you have room for it on your memory card.

Waterproof

This may scare you a bit. It did me.  The company boasts 10 feet under water for up to 2 hours.  Now granted, I have not had the chance to be underwater with it for that long.  But it holds up very well in all water testing I have given it. 

I was wary of the camera at first, but the more I use it the more I love it.  It has plenty of options for types of pictures and I think most people would be very happy with the results.
