DVR for those of you that don't know stands for digital video recorder that means you can record TV programs digitally and they are stored on hard disk if you are like me who is still a bit nostalgic for technologies passed like VCR it's very hard to find a DVR which still has it's very own VCR so you can imagine my delight when I discovered the DVR620 DVD/VCR Combo from Toshiba before even trying it I knew I had a great product on my hands I must have spent about 5 minutes reading the menu then about 10 minutes connecting everything to my TV and so on and before attempting to put it on its maiden voyage I just couldn't help but gazing at the beautiful black beast that was all myne so as I set it to record the Confederations Cup Final and to my utter surprise the picture and audio quality in playback was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to buy DVR

Well, Toshiba is known for its electronic products, mainly the televisions. Now the DVR 620 as you mentioning sounds a good combination to try for.
