Finances & Insurance / Bank Accounts / US Bank...not worth my time

My husband and I decided that we were going to give US Bank a try so we opened up an checking account with them.  We both wish that we didn't and just stayed where we were in the firs place!  Right form the get go we had nothing but problems.  First off we did not order any checks and our account was debited 36.00 for some crazy checks that we never even authourized.  We argued and argued witht he bank manager and finally won that round and our account was credited.  Then about 2 months of bieng with them, our account was over-drawn.  I know that it was not my fault so we promptly went to our local branch and was trying to figure out what went wrong.  It turns out that it was their fault and they fixed that problem.  A few weeks later I recieved an phone callform them stating that out account was over-drawn by 434.00.  I almost had a stroke and told them there was no possible way!  I had not written any checks for over 3 weeks and the ones I wrote all cleared.  By this time my husband and I had enough of the irresponsible behavior at the bank and told them that we were going to close the account because of all the gray hair they were causing me!!  Bottom line I will never in my life entrust this financial institution with our banking needs again!
