We had a regular Discover Cash Back credit card. I then heard of the Discover Motiva Card. Basically if you make six months of timely payments, so no late payments, on that seventh month you will receive your finance charge back as a credit to your credit card.
I think this is a great idea. This is the only card we carry a balance on and it is great to get 'free' money back for making timely payments. With this card I still receive one percent cash back just as my regular Discover Card.
This card is easy to maintain. You can pay online and view your current statements and purchases. Customer service is great. The interest rate is one of the better ones for credit cards. However they do offer extremely low interest rates for balance transfers.
I highly recommend checking out this card.

What a cool idea getting your finance charge back on the 7th month. I can see how this would be popular with those who carry a balance.
I've signed up for this too, but I'm waiting to see how it works out. Two months to go yet.
