When I was in a period where I had bad credit and was wanting to rebuild my credit, The Orchard Bank Mastercard was one of the easiest cards to get approved for with bad credit. The one thing that this company is good for is giving second chances to people who are "credit challenged". The only problem is that they really tend to prey on these people and really seem to not be in the best interest of someone who has credit problems. First of all, they will give you a high interest rate. Sometimes these rates can be in the range of 20 to 30 percent. The card also has an application fee and a substancial annual fee. After being a loyal customer of 4 years, they would still not remove this yearly fee that was around 75 dollars. If you are looking to get a credit card and you are desperate, Orchard Bank is probably the company for you. But be careful, the terms can really get you into trouble if you are not careful.

I too feel "ripped off" by this compan but what is someone to do who is trying to rebuild their credit? I have been a member of theirs for about the same amount of time as you and they are not willing to give a little either way. I must say this card did do the "trick" of helping me improve my credit but now it is just a necessary hassle.
Credit cards something we should handle with care. Because, we have a blank check with us for marketing and if we get Bankrupt, we will be put behind the bars. It is true that the banks have to be careful delivering worthy customers and so is the tough process you had to go through. Well written informations.
