Candyland is a great game for children. It's also kind of fun for adults. I know I like to play it. The board is just so fun to look at with all the colorful candy surroundings. It's a good game for kids to learn about colors and simply counting too. The game is played with little gingerbread looking men who have to reach the top of the board by flipping over color cards that directs them to that color. For example, a card with one green or two green squares could be turned over and then that player has to move his gingerbread man to the next green square (or the second green square if they flipped the two square card). There are also special cards that allow players to advance very far ahead or back to start! It's just an all around fun game for parents to play with their kids.
