I was given the CSI: Double Down puzzle as a gift at Christmas. My sister came over and we decided we'd work on it together along with my husband. The contents of the picture is a crime scene, so I don't suggest putting the CSI puzzles together with children.
Piecing this together was quite a challenge because not one picture of the actual puzzle can be found on the box. You have to use the "crime scene analysis" information, which is a background story of the crime. It took us hours to figure out how to piece this together. But, we are not accomplished puzzlers either, so this may be simple to some.
The package also contains a "CSI flashlight". It's really small, like something you'd attach to a keychain. There are lines on the puzzle, and when the flashlight hits them, they reflect. The flashlight portion of the puzzle was lacking to me, because it didn't really provide much information.
Bepuzzled has provided the option of CSI: New York as well as Las Vegas puzzles, so there is something for both CSI fans. I think this puzzle is definitely worth the price. We enjoyed the time we spent working together.

I love puzzles and CSI, so now you've made me covet! I want this!
That sounds like fun! Maybe I'll get the family one for Christmas. :D
My daughter and her father play games and put together puzzles all the time this sounds like it combines the both. I may have to look into this for the upcoming holidays.
