Gaming / Video Game Consoles / Nintendo DS

I bought this used about two years ago, right after DS Lites came out. Everyone was selling these for pretty cheap, so I thought I'd pick one up.

The unit was in great condition for being used. I have Advance Wars DS, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart DS, WarioWare Touched, and various games for Game Boy Advance.

The DS is a very innovative system. I was expecting it to be fairly gimmicky, however, the touch screen is actually very intuitive. WarioWare makes the best usage of the touch screen, with a vast array of fun micro games. Other games, such as Advance Wars, does not feel well suited to the touch screen but luckily, the DS also has the standard D-Pad and and six button setup.

The actual size is much too large to be a handheld. It's about the same size as the original GameBoy, which was also not very portable. It's fine for carrying around in a backpack or messenger bag, but not very practical to have in your pocket.
