Honestly I'm not so fond of this game. I got bored halfway and quit it, so I can't really tell you everything you should know about it. Except that the graphics are not really that much to look forward too. The sound is okay, in a medieval sort of way.

Gameplay.  Alisia Dragoon is a side scrolling fighting game where you get to kill enemy monsters and defeat enemy bosses, and go from one level to the next. You use your powers to destroy the enemy, and the power or attack such as thunder will grow stronger if you get some power ups along the way. You also have companions that will fight with you--the dragon, the lizard, the raven, and the fireball. Only one companion may be active at a time so you have to switch between them depending on the situation.

All in all, it's not so bad. It's still playable. But it can get boring, especially if you die and have to start all over again since there is no way to save the game, and not even a password. I'm not so fond of it so I would recommend some other games to try for Sega Genesis.
