Gaming / Video Games / Brain Assist gets you thinking!

I have always been a huge fan of video games that make you think.  I am really addicted to Brain Age and Brain Age 2, so when I found out that Brain Assist was coming out, I had to get it.  One thing I like about games for the Nintendo DS is that they are a lot less expensive than games for other systems.  I found Brain Assist new at Gamestop for $19.99.

Brain Assist is one of those games that tests your brain and really makes you think.  The first time you start the game you will want to enter your name in an account so that you can save all of your scores and stats.  This is important to track your progress.  You will then be able to choose from several different options.  The first option is where you will spend the most time.  In the single game mode you will learn how to play each minigame, there are 12 in all.

My favorite minigame is Count Mania.  It is easy to learn, but difficult to master.  You will spend a lot of time mastering the games in single player mode before you take tests to see how smart you are.  There are also multiplayer modes.  These will let you compete against others to see how you rank against them.  You only need one game cartridge for the multiplayer mode.

One downfall to this game is that it loads slowly.  I am an impatient person, so sometimes this gets frustrating.  Even after owning this game over a month I still tend to pick this game up on a daily basis, I don't want to let it down until I master it.  I highly recommend this game for a lot of fun.
