Gaming / Video Games / Resident Evil Zero, only on Gamecube

I know with all the new consoles coming out that the Nintendo Gamecube is beginning to fall by the wayside, but if there are reasons to hang onto it a bit longer, this game is one of those reasons! Especially if you are a Resident Evil fan like I am. As some of you may or may not know, Resident Evil Zero was made only for Gamecube, even though I really wish they would have released it as well for the PS2 and PS3. The one thing that is unique about this particular game is that a single player has the ability to play 2 characters at once. The whole object of this is figure out solutions to problems and utilize each characters strongest attributes / skills to survive. The 2 main characters you will be playing are Rebbeca Chambers ( S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team Medic) and Billy Coen ( escaped Ex-Military Convict). The story starts off where the Bravo team is sent in by helicopter to investigate grisly murders occurring in the Arklay Mountains, just outside of Raccoon City. During the flight the helicopter malfunctions and the team is forced to crash land. After crashing in the forest, the team sets out on foot only to discover, a overturned military police transport vehicle and the mutilated corpses of 2 military officers. Here is where the team splits up to investigate the area, and (you as) Rebecca come across a passenger train stopped in the middle of the forest. This is also where you eventually meet up with your soon to be partner through the entire game, Billy.

But this is only barely the beginning! The train eventually becomes a run away train, that is filled with deadly leeches and zombies that you have survive, and all while trying to figure out how to stop the train from crashing, and killing both Rebecca and Billy! Oh did I mention there is a time limit too? So do I have your interest now?

Needless to say, there are many deadly creatures, puzzles, traps, and more for Rebecca and Billy to encounter ahead! This is a game that definitely will challenge you. If you like a challenge and horror type survival games, this one is worth grabbing. Also, at the price that the Nintendo Gamecube is right now, well worth buying a cube for in my opinion.
