The Suikoden series is at the top of all time favorites with Suikoden II being the best. The plot of Suikoden III was confusing, that was because I didn't know who the main character was, the one who leads everyone. Between the middle and the end is where the plot really deepens, I actually played it 3 times to get the good ending as well as to analyze every scene once more. Suikoden III was the beginning of the Suikoden series becoming 3D. The character movements are very blocky, its as if some characters are missing some frames or animations. As a fanatic it doesn't bother me, but my "acquaintances" have criticized it. Truthfully I don't care if a game is ugly, if the game has a good plot that fits my liking I'll like it. Suikoden III was one of those games, at the top. It does replicate its predecessors in collecting a vast amount of characters for your army which I enjoyed. Another problem was that the field that odd. Its not free to move around the world map, you would have to go through a town just to get through it. The maps were also too big, at least 10 minutes were spent from the entrance to exit. But its all worth it because as I said before, the plot is very well scripted and thought out.
