Gaming / Video Games / Super Paper Mario for Wii is a huge improvement

Having played the GameCube Paper Mario, I must say that this new version is a huge improvement. The original Paper Mario was fun, but its major flaw, for me, was that fighting enemies was not done in real time on the gameplay screen, but in RPG-style turn-taking battles. In other words, instead of stomping on enemies while going through the levels, you would run into an enemy and be taken to the battle screen, where you would take turns attacking each other. There was certainly strategy involved here, but I prefer tackling enemies in real time. Super Paper Mario goes back to the traditional style of fighting enemies, making the game quicker-paced and more challenging.

I also really enjoy the integration of Wii technology into Paper Mario. You can hold the Wii remote either sideways or pointed at the screen to complete different tasks. You can also "flip" between 2D and 3D gameplay, which is one of the biggest improvements to the new version of Paper Mario. Overall, this is an excellent game that I'd highly recommend to any Nintendo fan.
