OK, Folks-THIS is the COOLEST game I've played in a long time.  I'm not a huge gaming fanatic, but this game has it all.  There's a lot of strategy and thought involved in this game, fighting (but that's not the big attraction to the game), and the story line just keeps going and going.  You move at your own pace and choose which quests you want to do and when.  All sorts of interesting things wait for you in this game.  I've been playing for over 70 hours now WITHOUT the expansion sets!!  And yes, there are expansions!  There are dozens of things you can do for your character-you can be who you want to be and make your guy good or evil-you can even change your mind throughout! 

It's hard to explain this game, honestly.  You are a character that needs to save the world (as a lot of fantasy games start).  Demons from another dimension are invading the world and you have to stop them.  In this world there are several towns where you can accomplish different tasks.  You can join guilds of theives, fighters, mages, and a brotherhood of darkness.  Each of these groups has you do different tasks so you can move up in rank in each group.  There are fortresses to conquer, caves to explore, groups of worshippers of diferent sects to help, etc.  You learn to use magic skills, there are herbs and such that you can find out in the virtual world or buy from townspeople to create alchemic potions that do different things to your characcter (such as heal, increase strength or magic, defend, or hurt other characters,etc)  Hundreds of weapons are at your disposal, some normal, some magical in different ways.  The person that came up with this game is genius!  There's hours and hours of fun in this game. 

A kind of comparison (although there is no comparison) is the Final Fantasy series.  Like I said, though, there is no comparison.  This game is so unique.  It won #1 game of the year fronm GameRankings.com for XBox 360, and I can definitely see why.  This game is easy to handle, but allows for non-stop excitement.  I highly recommend this one, especially if you just want to try out a good role playing game.  Even if it's your first time playing a game like this, there's a control setting in the options to make it easier or harder, so you can truely adjust this to your own pace.  Great, great game!!
