My Husband and I decided to we were tired of our ceader deck. One day I decide to do a little research on composite decking. I was amaized on what I found out. Composite decking has a 25 year warranty. THe Composite has very little maintance. To clean the composite decking all you do is hose it off once a week. There is no sanding, no stripping and no staining like ceader or real wood. The best part about composit it does not fade in the sun like real wood and it look amazing. I am so happy with our new deck and I enjoy sitting outside with my friend and family. The only things about composite is it does scrach and it is expencive, but think about all the staine you would buy over 25 years for real wood, it comes out to be cheaper for composite and look 10x better.

  • Mary60 all I can say is do your research. I truly think that its worth it. Before I had my deck Built I had people I did not know telling me that Composite is a great Product. Lots of luck

  • We've been looking for something to replace our real wood deck that's splintering & this sounds great with no major upkeep.
