Garden & Tools / Weed Eaters / Worxx 2 - in - 1 Lawn Trimmer

tools lawn review image

When my husband and I moved into our house, we quckly relized that we were the ones that needed to take care of our lawn. That included lawnmowing, edge trimming, and weeds. We didn't have any of those tools because we didn't need them in the past. After some time of going back and fourth about which brand of edge trimmer we needed to get we saw the Worxx brand on a commercial. I took down the number and after some thought we decided to go ahead and purchase the Worxx 2 - in - 1 Edge Trimmer because there was 30 day money back guarantee if we didn't like the trimmer.

We purchased it for $99.99 but we only had to pay $33.33 for 3 months and we received it within about 4 weeks. With the Worxx you get an 18- volt extended runtime batteriy that lasted me about 3 hours which is about 1/2 and acre of land  however when I was ready to charge the battery it only took about 90 minutes to get a full charge. As far as the tool itself, you can change the hieight. I am about 6 feet tall and the Worxx tool goes to about my waist. Thats is great for me because I dont have to bend over to use it. I can also adjust the way the the tool stands so that I can use it as and edger or a trimmer. Either standing straight, or angleing to reach under bushes. The handle also rotates. The best part of the whole deal is that it comes with a lifetime of spools... all we have to pay is the shipping for them. Some other features include:

- The bottom shaft tilts so that you can get those hard to reach spots

- There is also 100% line feed (which I havn't had to replace in the 6 months I've had it)

- A Fold away spacer at the bottom so that you dont accidently cut flowers.

- A large twin wheel that supports and guides the trimmer.

I love to use this tool. It makes my life a lot easier as well as my husband because I actually want to help with the lawn. At first I thought the price was expensive, but the more I use it, the more I see that it was a great purchase and comes in handy for those weeds I am still trying to battle.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have had this tool for a little over a year and I use it to trim bushes as well as weeds and it works great. I have never once had to change the string (not sure what the right word is). I have also only plugged it in4 times to charge so the battery life is long lasting. I still reccomend this tool to anyone who has to weed their lawn.

  • I saw this on a commerical the other day and I loved the idea that it ran off a battery. I can never start the one that I have so I really want this. Sounds great

    • It's really a great deal. For me it was a little expensive but I liked the part where they allow you to make 3 payments of like $33.33. It is totally worth it!
