I first became familiar with Lugol's Iodine when I was searching online for a natural treatment to cure bacterial infections.  I was unaware that this type of iodine could be taken internally to fight infections.   I am a huge skeptic when it comes to trying natural remedies, since there is always a chance that I might not get the same results like other people.
